Paragraph Writing

Supporting sentences or the body of the paragraph are used to explain and illustrate the idea expressed in the topic sentences. Supporting sentences. In a paragraph, there are usually 2-4 supporting sentences in a paragraph.  You will find supporting sentences in the middle of a paragraph – after the topic sentence, and before a concluding sentence or transition.
